A young Pakistani Christian woman gunned down upon refusal to enter in friendship. In line with details, the victim Amara Bibi, mother of 5 shot three times by Farman son of Muhammad Qayum Dindar. The incident unfolded in Chak 460, Purani Maaki District Sheikhupura.
Details emerged that Amara was living in the village with her husband Boota Masih and five children. The alleged murderer Farman asked her to be friends with him. The woman turned down his proposal, which resulted in a brawl between the two.
Purportedly, Farman threatened her saying that if she did not belong to him, she would not belong to anybody else. Consequently, on August 7, around 2 am Farman stormed into Amara’s house and started beating Amara. The assault resulted in commotion, which woke her husband up. When Farman saw Boota Masih he opened fire at Amra shooting at her three times.Critically wounded Amra was taken to a hospital where she received medical attention. On August 18, she succumbed to her injuries.
Recently, a similar case was reported from Karachi where a Non-Christian man Tahir Abbas forced a Christian schoolgirl Beenish Paul to convert and change her religion. She refused to comply with his demands and was thrown down from the rooftop. The girl sustained severe injuries while the culprit was apprehended by the police.
