According to details, 28-years-old Pakistani Christian woman who was pregnant was paraded naked by her employers because she was allegedly,” not working up to the expectations of her employer.” The victimised woman lost her child as a result of this vicious assault by her employer. The incident took place in District Shiekhupura of Punjab province where persecution of Christians is a familiar story.

The poor victim worked as a maid and as witnesses report, was forcefully made to walk without clothes for at least 30 minutes publicly for the reason that her work was not found satisfactory by her employers. In line with her personal statement one of her employer’s sons, along with his four friends, dragged this 28-year old pregnant Christian woman from the house. They ripped off her clothes, rendering her naked on a street corner. She was allegedly physical assaulted which caused damage to her unborn child. An elderly woman who found her naked gave her some clothes to cover herself afterwards. Subsequently, her relatives arrived at the scene and rushed her to a local hospital for tests to check on the safety of her unborn child. Sadly, doctors were unable to save her unborn child as she miscarried as a direct result of this assault. Her husband says that police has initiated investigation against Mobin Gondal and his four accomplices nevertheless they are not being tried under the terrorism laws as per demand of the victim. The victim s already mother of four children.

The victim says, “I was two months pregnant and I lost my baby in the incident. Police are not arresting the accused. I will commit suicide if I am not given justice”.
