Sialkot: Christian advocate strives for repossession of an expropriated graveyard for Christians

A Christian advocate to struggle for the repossession of the confiscated graveyard used by Christians. Advocate Alisha Gill has taken up the task to move courts for a stay order over the illegal possession of the burial land part of the Christians’ graveyard.

The graveyard under threat is situated in Kotla Amambaanwala village in district Sialkot. Advocate Alisha maintains that Bishop Rufan Julius who is an ex-Minister for Minorities had bought this land from Muhammad Boota and bestowed it upon the local Christians.

Advocate Alisha has prepared a petition seeking stay order against the illegal possession of the graveyard land. He says that he will be presenting the petition before the court tomorrow, September 3, Saturday. “I urge all to pray for me and the success of my legal pursuit,” he urged.
