Sikh lawmaker’ murder: Condemnation from Pakistan Minorities Alliance PMA

Pakistani Minorities’ Rights movement Pakistan Minorities Alliance PMA strongly condemn the killing of Sikh MPA-Sardar Singh. In this regard, Pakistan Minorities’ Alliance Poland, issued a press release on April, 25, Monday expressing strong reproof of the heinous act.

Pakistan Minorities Alliance Poland, strongly condemn target killing of special assistant to chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) on minorities affairs and an MPA Sardar Soran Singh. We demand from the Pakistani Government they should provide security to Christians and the other minorities in Pakistan.

Pakistan Minorities Alliance press release

Pakistan Minorities Alliance (PMA) is one of the leading Minorities Rights’ movements of the country. The movement is headed by Advocate Tahir Naveed Chuadhary, who received widespread fame when he fought as a defense counsel for blasphemy accused Rimsha Masih. Moreover, Tahir Naveed is also a former member of provincial assembly (MPA) Punjab.

On April 22, Friday when Soran Singh was returning home after attending a function in Buner District, the gunmen intercepted his car and opened indiscriminate fire. As a result of which he died on the spot. Sardar Soran Singh was the special assistant on minorities to the Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and member of the provincial assembly.
