In 1958 eight Dominican sisters from Sparkill, N.Y flown out to Bahawalpur, Pakistan, as preachers. Within seven years, a Pakistani gathering of Dominican sisters was getting its first postulants, according to the sources there are 14 Pakistani Sparkill Dominicans sisters serving Pakistan’s Christians.
