LAHORE: The policy to evade Badami Bagh like incidents was carved out on Monday, 11th of March at the Cathedral Church.
The conference was headed by the Advisor to the PM on National Harmony, Dr. Paul Bhatti in the company of the Minister of State for National Harmony Akram Masih Gill, Badshahi Mosque Khateeb Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, Allama Tahir Ashrafi, Maulana Zubair Ahmad Zaheer, MPA Tahir Naveed Chaudhry, Bishop Alexander John Malik and others.
The members of the conference urged the federal as well as the provincial governments to seize the accused by the assistance of TV footages and try them in the anti-terrorist courts.
At this occasion a committee including Muslim and Christian scholars and Christian leaders was outlined which will make efforts to sustain to the affectees and observe the scenario. Bishop Alexander John Malik commented that the Christian community respects the prophets and holy books of other religions.
Later on, Allama Tahir Ashrafi briefed the media about the agenda of the meeting and announced that a day of tolerance and solidarity will be observed on Friday the 15th of March; in a dedicated expression of unity with the Christian community.
