Christians crucified in Syria

ISIS executes 12 Christians who refused to give up their faith in Lord Jesus Christ.

According to reports, ultra-extremist terror group ISIS has executed 12 Christians in Aleppo, Syria. These Christians had refused to convert to Islam and so met a chilling end. The Christian martyrs include a 12-year-old boy who was son of a Syrian evangelist who had planted nine churches in the region.

In line with the reports by Christian Aid Mission, “”In front of the team leader and relatives in the crowd, the Islamic extremists cut off the fingertips of the 12-year-old boy and severely beat him, telling his father they would stop the torture only if he, the father, returned to Islam.”

“When the Syrian evangelist refused, the ISIS militants also tortured and beat him and the two other ministry workers. The three men and the boy then met their deaths in crucifixion.” These Christians remained faithful to the very end, and chose to die rather than rejecting their Lord. Another woman of the 12 who were killed by ISIS was publicly beheaded by the jihadi group, “She bore a slight smile on her face as she said, “Jesus!”

The 12 Christian martyred for their faith included two women of 29 and 33 years. These were all evangelists or Christian aid workers who were taken to another village and threatened to convert to Islam if they wanted to live. However, they refused to heed to the ISIS jihadists and remained faithful to their Lord Jesus Christ.

When they refused to convert to Islam and be intimidated, the ISIS jihadists raped both the Christian women before executing them. The terrorists summoned a crowd to watch the public execution of these Christians. It has been reported that when the Christians were made to kneel down to be beheaded they prayed, as revealed by the witnesses.

The Director of the Christian Aid Mission stated “Villagers said some were praying in the name of Jesus, others said some were praying the Lord’s Prayer, and others said some of them lifted their heads to commend their spirits to Jesus. One of the women looked up and seemed to be almost smiling as she said, ‘Jesus!'”

After beheading these Christians, the ISIS jihadists crucified all of them for public spectacle. Crucifying Christians is the terror group’s way of mocking Lord Jesus Christ’s crucifixion.
