A 29-minute video, entitled “Until It Came to Them—Clear Evidence,” has been released by ISIS. It showcases the history of relations between Muslims and Christians, moving on to show ISIS destroying churches, smashing graves and destroying religious sites and icons.
The video also highlights the massacre of 30 Ethiopians, which are addressed a “the followers of the cross.” A masked ISIS fighter then appears holding a gun and declares that all Christians should convert to Islam. For those who refuse, “we owe nothing except the edge of the sword,” he threatens.
ISIS continues to release similar videos. The last one came out in February in which, 21 Egyptians were beheaded for their faith in Christ. The video was captioned “The people of the cross, followers of the hostile Egyptian church.” ISIS fighter addressed the world saying, ““All crusaders: safety for you will be only wishes, especially if you are fighting us all together. The sea you have hidden Sheikh Osama Bin Laden’s body in, we swear to Allah we will mix it with your blood.”
Thousands are hence forced to make the deadly boat journeys across the Mediterranean. People from Middle East and Africa are fleeing to find refuge in Italy, using Libya as a means of transport. Last week 12 Christians on one of these boats were thrown over board by Muslims also making the journey. They have now been charged with “multiple aggravated murders motivated by religious hate.”
ISIS has also declared a new warning saying, “To the nation of the cross, we are now back again.”
