College students who fled from Mosul and from towns and villages in the Nineveh Plain under the violent offensive of jihadists of the Islamic State (IS) can hold their exams at other universities in northern Iraq.

The measure of acceptance was advertised with a notice by the Iraqi political bodies that deal with education and the right to education in Iraq and in the autonomous Region of Iraqi Kurdistan. Now thousands of students from public and private colleges – including many young Christians are not to lose the academic year in spite of the jihadist tremor that shook the region.
