Up-front leverage: Federal Minister for Human Rights called on Amanat Masih

Federal Minister for Human Rights calls on Rawalpindi’ Amanat Masih- who has been suffering from chronic liver disease and was unable to bear expenses indisposed by the expensive treatment. Amanat Masih who is the sole bread winner of his kinfolk, was told by the doctors that 70% of his liver was not functioning.

Amanat Masih gets help from HFI

Previusly Federal Minister took notice of Amanat Masih’ dilemma and dispatched a team led by MPA Shakeel Marcus Khokhar, who inquired after Amanat Masih’ health. In a video message, Federal Minister had vowed to visit Amanat in person.

On July 11, Monday Federal Minister called on Amanat Masih, accompanied by Sajid Christopher Executive Director of Human Friends International- a charity organization. Sajid Christopher announced that his organization will bear all the expenses of Amanat Masih’ treatment.

“Human Friends International has vowed to bear all the expenses of Amanat Masih’ treatment. I am thankful to Sajid Christopher,” he said. He further explained that as he had pledged earlier he would go to any length in order to procure assistance for the Christian sufferer.

He further urged all charity organizations who are able to succor underprivileged citizens who by any reason, are unable to afford medical treatment. “Whatever talent the Lord has blessed us with, we need to serve people like Amanat Masih so their lives can be saved. I pray for Sajid Christopher so that the Lord may use him abundantly.”

“Today marks an auspicious occasion for this family, as all the prayers they have been offering for Amanat Masih have been answered,” he added. He urged all NGOs and charitable organisations to get in contact with his ministry so that they can together reach out to many like Amanat Masih who are lingering along.
