“We are praying for PM’ complete healing, ” says senior-vice President of PML-N Lahore minority wing

Pakistan Muslim League’s Minorities Wing’s Senior Vice President Saleem Rehmat Sindhu has expressed gratification over successful open-heart surgery of the PML-N leader and Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. “We are filled with thanksgiving to the Lord, that he has answered our prayers in the form of successful heart surgery of the Prime Minister of Pakistan- Mian Nawaz Sharif.”

He said that we continue to pray for complete healing of the Premier, while adding praying “May the Lord be with the Prime Minister.” Prime Minister’ Prayer Team is continuously praying for PM’ speedy recovery. He said that special prayers were offered for the PM in various churches across the country including Lahore.

Previously, on Tuesday May 31, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif underwent a successful open heart surgery in a London hospital. After a day, doctors removed two drain tubes from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s chest. “Surgery successful by the Grace of Almighty,” PM’s daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif said on Twitter. “All arteries successfully grafted,” she explained.

PM’ surgery lasted around four hours, and he is expected to stay in hospital for a week to recover. “It may take little over a week for the prime minister to recover and travel back to Pakistan,” the senior government official stated adding that PM was paying all the expenses of his treatment from his own pocket and “none of the state expenditures are involved.”
