Federal Minister for Human Rights, Senator Kamran Michael hailed working –class and paid homage to the workers on the occasion of Labour Day, May 1. For this reason a ceremony was organized which was attended by leaders and workers of the ruling party PML-N along with blue collar workers.
While addressing the audience, Human Rights Minister acknowledged valuable services of working-class people. He said that labour force has been pivotal in national progress. He paid tribute to the working class saying these are the ones who toil at the grass root level. “We salute our labor class,” he said as he continued that the nation recognizes their valuable services which have served as a foundation for the road to development and progress of the country.
He told the audience that the government is committed to serve the working class of the country. He said that the government values them and is striving to facilitate them in all possible way. Federal Minister said that the government is determined to improve the living standards of the working class. Further explaining the importance of the working-class in the country, he said that the ruling party comprises of people hailing from the working-class.
PML-N is the voice of the working class, he said as he continued that the ruling party has always raised voice for the subjugated people. He asserted that PML-N has always stood for the rights of the labourers and is striving for their welfare as it strongly committed to provide basic facilities such as shelter and security to the citizens.
Federal Minister further told the audience that all need to follow Prime Minister’s vision. He said that the Prime Minister has always had a vision to uplift the socio-economic status of the working- class. We are committed to serve and dispense basic rights to the labor class, he said. At the same time the Senator Kamran Michael pledged to protect the rights of the downtrodden working-class.
