Church Mission Society, CSM organized workshops in order to uphold the legacy of Sadhu Sundar Singh who is famously known as Apostle of the bleeding feet. For this reason a two-day workshop was organized which was attended by Christian youth in large numbers.
The workshop was aimed to highlight the missionary work of Sadhu Sundar Singh and his legacy of evangelism. These workshops were marked by cultural activities, music, sharing of testimonies and exotic food. The two-day workshop commenced from June 18 and ended up on June 19. Bishop of Lahore Reverend Irfan Jamil and Bishop of Amritsar Reverend P. K. Samantaroy, who is the Moderator Church of North India were the speakers at this workshop.
Both the church leaders hail from cities where Sadhu Sundar Singh had evangelized to many. Upon organizing this successful two-day workshop CMS expressed gratitude towards Sammy Zar , Reverend Rana Youab Khan, Moseena Rana and Raj Patel of CMS Asia.
The participants had an opportunity to listen to lectures and sermons of two great men of God. The attendees included those from different nationalities and Britons from various parts of England. The attendees also included the diaspora community of Norwegians and Pakistanis. At this occasion, the great feast day of Sadhu Sundar Singh was celebrated and while attendees showed resolution to uphold Sadhu Sindur Singh’ legacy of evangelism.
