Young Christian Musicians Performed at Lahore Gora Qabrstan to mark All Souls Day

Every year on 2nd November (All Souls Day) Catholic Church bless the graves of Christians faithful are died and not with us. From past year youthful artists willful chose to perform amid the sacred mass. Mr. Noukhez Choir in charge and Keyboardist told that he feels exceptionally glad while playing in the graveyard for this event. He added more that we can play present day music in the Churches choirs, Concerts then for what reason not we perform in the holy mass.

Pastor Edwin stated, I am giving most recent sound system here and consistently an ever increasing number of individuals going to this Mass due to an extremely peaceful Music and geet.

A teenage Guitarist Annan said, I play with acclaimed Noori Band and Raaga boys, I get a kick out of the chance to play here for our friends and family left souls with no charges.

An artist Michael said, I am music instructor in a popular School from last, We began here singing with overwhelming music and sound. Mr. Daud (Tabla Master) said I am likewise instructor at Alhamra and I want to play here. All the choir performers are well known for their playing.

Sheroze pervez who was a bass player with Gospel Singer Faraz Nayyer and a music instructor at popular school shared his lovely views about this holy mass.

All Souls’ Day commemorate the faithful departed. In Western Christianity, this day is observed principally in the Catholic Church, although some churches of the Anglican Communion and the Old Catholic Churches also celebrate it. The Eastern Orthodox churches observe several All Souls’ Days during the year. The Roman Catholic celebration is associated with the doctrine that the souls of the faithful who at death have not been cleansed from the temporal punishment due to venial sins and from attachment to mortal sins cannot immediately attain the beatific vision in heaven, and that they may be helped to do so by prayer and by the sacrifice of the Mass.

The mass was lead by Bishop Sebastian Shaw with his team. Moreover a family said, yearly we came here however from a year ago because of choir assemblage expanded in the graveyard on All Souls Day and this is new and great experience may God all-powerful blessed all the choir individuals. Mr. Sohail (Harmonium Player) and Khurram Pervez (Gospel singer) sharing their’s views by Thanking the God all-powerful to gives them opportunity and pick us for this work, Dear God remember all our friends and family who have died. It would be ideal if you give them solace and trust and may they be at peace, knowing that they will rest in the God’s arm endlessly.
