ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman led from the front by partaking in the crucial phase of Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
According to media reports, Air chief Sohail Aman together with a formation of the fighter aircrafts led the air blitz against the terrorist hideouts. During this operation, he successfully targeted several terrorists’ hidey-holes.
The Pakistan Air Force blitzkrieg was successful as several dens of the militants and their ammo depots were destroyed during the recent air campaign. Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman also met the air and ground crew of PAF and praised their services for Pakistan. Moreover, he appreciated their self-sacrificing commitment and morale.
Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman also paid tribute to the PAF’s iconic war heroes. He also restated his determination to root out the nuisance of terrorism from the country.
He said that Pakistan Air Force had played a significant role in the 1965 war with India and is now playing a major role in military operation Zarb-e-Azb. Additionally, he said that Pakistan Air Force would keep on proving in future that it is a competent and hard-hitting air force which is ‘second to none’.
